"Aurus" with a symphony orchestra

I got to collaborate as an orchestrator with composer Matheo Techer on this beautiful project, taking the music by the band Aurus from Reunion Island and arranging it for a symphony orchestra.

Aurus, led by singer Bastien Picot, performed live with the Orchestre de la region Reunion and it was a joy to orchestrate Matheo's arrangements to a full orchestral setting. The music blends indigenous music "Maloya" with a pop feel. A really exciting project to be a part of - Here's a glimpse of the live experience:
